Biography

Obituary: Graham Watts, 88, of York, PA, formerly of Summit, N.J., died at 3:40 a.m. Monday at Normandie Ridge. He was the husband of Alethea E. (Poecker) Watts. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family at The Episcopal Church of Saint John the Baptist, 140 N. Beaver St., York. Burial will be in Mount Rose Cemetery. There will be no viewing. The Etz weiler Funeral Home, 1111 E. Market St., York, is in charge of arrange ments. Mr. Watts was born March 31, 1911, in New York, N.Y. He was the son of the late James and Mary Edith (Eaton) Watts. He was a senior executive vice president of Royal Globe Insurance Companies of New York, retiring after 44 years of service. He was a member of the Episcopal Church of St. John the Baptist in York and the Guards of the Royal Globe Insurance Companies. Mr. Watts also is survived by two daughters, Beverly W. Werner and Wendy W. Flinchbaugh, both of York; and three grandchildren. Officiating at the service will be his former rector, the Rev. Canon Kermit L. Lloyd.
