There is some confusion as the parentage of Lee Waugh. We know his father was Robert from marriage records. There was a Robert who was a farmer and another Robert who was a boot maker. I think they are two difference people who both had sons named Lee. In 1880 Lee is listed as a son in the home of the boot maker and was single. Also in 1880 Lee is listed with his wife in a neighboring community. They were married in 1874, so they had been married already for six years before the census was taken. I, Robert B. Waugh of the County and State aforesaid, being of sound mind, but considering the uncertainty of my earthly existance do make and declare this my last will and testament.
First. My executrix hereinafter named shall give my body a decent burial suitable to the wishes of my friends and relatives, and pay all funeral expenses together with all my just debts, out of the first moneys which may come into her hands belonging to my estate.
Second. I give and devise to my wife, Mary A. Waugh, all my real estate and personal property wherever situated and by whatever name known for and during her natural life, and at her death I give and devise all of the said property, both real and personal to my daughter Sallie B. Waugh and in fee simple, to disposes of as she pleases; with the exception however, of one tract of land lying near Waughtown, containing about seven acres, adjoining the lands of Bill Jones, Jerre Hester place, John Mathers and others and known as the Jones place, this tract of land at the death of my said wife I give and devise to my youngest son, A. J. Waugh in fee simple. All of my other children viz. John H. Waugh, J. D. Waugh, Lee Waugh, P. W. Waugh, Sultana Waugh and Mary Waugh living and E. P. Waugh, deceased, have all been provided for by me, in educating and settling them as they married off.
Third. I hereby constitute and appoint my said daughter Sally B. Waugh, my lawful executrix to all intents and purposes, to execute this my last will and testament, according to the true meaning and intent of the same and every part and clause thereof, hereby revoking and declaring utterly void all other wills and testaments by me heretofore made.
In Witness Whereof I, the said Robert B. Waugh, hereunto set my hand and seal this the 16th day of July 1901.
