Biography

Aurelia (Amelia) Emma Webb was born on 19 Aug 1849 in Canterbury, Kent, England. She was the daughter of Samuel Webb and Jane Louisa (Warman) Webb. ^[1] She was christened with her siblings on 25 Mar 1854 at Ramsgate, St George, Kent, England. ^[2]

In 1851 she was age one and living with her parents and siblings in Dunkirk Extra Parochial, Kent, England. Her father was a coal miner.^[3]

At age 9 she emigrated to New Zealand with her parents and siblings in 1859. They left England on 2 Sep 1859 and arrived on 4 Dec 1859 at Lyttelton, Canterbury, New Zealand on the ship ”Regina”. ^[4]

Aurelia (Amelia) died at age 62 on 6 Nov 1912 in Lyttelton, Christchurch, Canterbury, New Zealand. ^[5] She was buried at the Lyttelton Cemetery there.^[6]

Her will passed probate in 1912 in Christchurch, Canterbury, New Zealand.^[7]
