He married Lena Daphne Scott about 1935 in New Zealand. ^[2]

Cyril was a farmer most of his life, he lived at Okaiawa, Taranaki, New Zealand in the years of 1938 - 1957

He lived at 4 Katotauriu Road Okaiawa, still farming in the years from 1963 - 1972

Cyril passed away about the 21 October 1988. ^[3] He was buried at the Hawera General Cemetery, Hawera, South Taranaki, New Zealand. New Plot Number 11664, Block XCVII, Old Plot 31.
