George Wegg was born about 1824 in Sheringham, Norfolk, England & baptised there 4th July 1824, the son of John Wegg & Mary Fisher.^[1]

George Wegg, age 25, of Uxbridge & Deborah Johnson, age 18, of Whitchurch were married 3rd December 1849 at Home Township, Algoma, Canada West. Witnesses were Thomas Wegg and Emanella Johnson.^[2]

George Wagg, Gentleman of Stouffville, died aged 77 on 30th June 1900 in Stouffville, York, Ontario, Canada & was laid to rest at Bloomington Christian Cemetery, Bloomington, York, Ontario, Canada.^[3][4]
