Gary was born in 1947. He was the son of Wilbur Wehrle and Opal Drake. He passed away in 2018.

Gary L. Wehrle, age 70, of Fennimore, passed away on Saturday morning, Jan. 13, 2018, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Madison. Gary was born on October 26, 1947, in Boscobel, WI, the son of Wilbur and Opal (Drake) Wehrle. He married Kathleen Feiner on Nov. 28, 1970. Gary did auto body work for many years and then worked at and retired from Lands End. He liked to collect toy tractors and had his collection featured in the Telegraph Herald. Gary also enjoyed fixing and repairing tractors. Gary is survived by three children; Terry (Chris) Wehrle of Holmen, Joe (Terri) Wehrle of Fennimore and Karen (Ryan) Klinkner of Norwalk; five grandchildren, Nicole, Natalie (James), Cole, Mitchell and Evan; special friend Lois Mook of Fennimore; two brothers, Rick (Bonnie) Wehrle of Beloit and Rod (Jackie) Wehrle of Fennimore; sister Janet Beffa of La Crosse; brother-in-law Pat (Teri) Feiner of Prairie du Sac; sister-in-law Karen (Mark) Tyler of Sauk City and many nieces and nephews. Gary was preceded in death by his wife Kathy, parents Wilbur and Opal Wehrle, step mother Alva Wehrle, sister Karen Wehrle, brother-in-law James Beffa and father and mother-in-law Ray and Loretta Feiner. The family would like to thank St. Mary’s and Dean Clinic in Dodgeville and Madison, Larson Family Funeral Home and Pastor Bud at the Fennimore United Methodist Church. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, Jan. 16, 2018, at the Fennimore United Methodist Church with burial to follow in the Prairie Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4:00 – 7:00 P.M. on Monday evening Jan. 15, 2018, at the Larson Family Funeral Home in Fennimore and from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service at the church on Tuesday morning. In lieu of plants and flowers, a memorial fund is being established in loving memory of Gary L. Wehrle.
