Sarah Weir was born in Walton Inferior in 1853. She was the daughter of Joseph Weir a farmer and Jane M Ford who were both from Walton. [1] She was baptised at Daresbury on 6 March 1853 [2]
In 1861 she was living with her parents at a farm in Lower Walton. [3]
In 1871 aged 18 she was a servant at Whitfield near Glossop in Derbyshire at the home of Joseph Bromhead, a draper, from Ashton-Under-Lyme. Lancashire. [4]
On 28 June 1877 she married Henry de Prez at Darebury Church, [5] They had at least 5 children: twins Amy and Harry 1878, Anne 1879, Allan 1880 and William Leonard 1883.
The family lived in Moore. Henry was a decorator. [6]
Sarah died in 1885 [7] and was buried at Daresbury Church on 10 June. [8]
