  • 1838 Belfast Commercial Chronicle, Monday 19th March 1838, Page 3 Column 1: "DIED At his residence, near Fintona, on the 5th instant, after a protracted illness caused by paralysis, Mr Francis Weldon, for nearly thirty years a respectable merchant in that town, deeply regretted by a numerous circle of friends and acquaintencies"
  • 1843: STRABANE MORNING POST, LONDONDERRY STANDARD & LONDONDERRY SENTINEL: "December 16 1843: On the 7th inst., at Fintona, ELIZABETH, eldest daughter of the late MR. FRANCIS WELDON, of that town, merchant".
