Known Facts Elizabeth is the mother of Francis Hodges Weller the purported son of Francis Hodges born in 1793.

In the 1841 census Elizth (age 70) was an Almswoman, living in the Almshouse in Sittingbourne, Kent, England.^[1]

Research

No conclusive evidence to confirm which Elizabeth Weller was the mother of Francis as no age is given. His mother could have been between 15 and 40, so born between 1753 and 1778 and all we know is she was unmarried at that time.

1/ Elizabeth was born in 1752 at an unknown location. She was the daughter of John Weller and Ann (Baker) Weller.^[2][3] 2/ Elizabeth was baptised on 28 June 1778 in Kent, England.^[4] If Elizabeth was the mother of Francis Hodges Weller, born out of wedlock in 1793, she would have been 42. It is unknown if she married at all.

Mrs Elizabeth Weller died in 1832 and was buried on 11 May 1832 in Greenwich, Kent, England.^[5]

Elizabeth died at the age of 83. ^[6][7] Elizabeth was buried on 25 October 1835 in Wilmington, Kent.^[7]
