Biography

Rachel Welsh's older sister Martha (1864-1883) had married Howard S. Penn (1864-1930) on March 5, 1883, but died later that year in giving birth to Howard E. Penn (1883-1927).

Rachel then eventually married the same Howard S. Penn on December 24, 1886, and soon had a son Bradley R. Penn (1887-1953).

Rachel later entered a 2nd marriage with widowed George W. Jenkins (1861-1932) on December 1, 1896, and had six more children.

Rachel and George are buried at Winfield Bible Chapel Cemetery in Carroll County.
