Researcher's Notes

Eileen, as shown by the numbers at her funeral, was a popular figure in and around Werris Creek. Her husband ran the local taxi service for whom she was the main driver. It was whilst on a journey to collect some passengers from Caroona Eileen was involved in a single car accident, which resulted in a roll-over. Eileen was thrown from the car, where she was found a couple of hours later by her husband. She never regained consciousness and died 24 hours after the accident. Cause of death is officially listed as 'Cerebral compression due to haemorrhage caused by a fracture of the base and vault of the skull caused when the motor car she was driving overturned.'
