Biography

David was born about 1843. He was the son of John Wheaton and Eliza Maxey.

David was living with his parents and siblings in Barton, Gibson county, Indiana in 1850.[1]

He moved with his family to Linn county, Oregon, where they were listed on the census in 1860.[2]

He married Elizabeth Jane "Betty" Linebarger on 14 Sep 1868 in Linn county, Oregon.[3] They had a large family.

David, Elizabeth, and oldest daughter Lillian were in Harrisburg, Linn, Oregon in 1870.[4]

They moved to East Kittitas, Yakima county, Washington by 1880.[5]

Elizabeth passed away in 1895.

In 1900, he was living with his son George in Colville Indian Reservaton, Stevens, Washington.[6]

He passed away in 1914.[7]
