Biography

Oscar's 1937 marriage record to Nellie show his parents as William H White and Lillian. William and Lillian did not marry until 1908, and the 1910 census record shows only daughter Ruth. Oscar at this time had either left home, or was living with his mother, for whom no record has been located.

On the 1940 census Thelma Bathrick is listed as his housekeeper. She is buried as Thelma White, so they must have married sometime after the census was taken.
