Peter White is Notable.

Peter White was an American television and stage actor, especially known for the television soap opera All My Children. He also orginated the role of Alan McCarthy in the groundbreaking off-Broadway hit play The Boys in the Band.^[1] Other notable credits include Dave (1993), Thirteen Days (2000) and Armageddon (1998). He also co-starred in the original Broadway production of James Kirkwood's "P.S. Your Cat is Dead."^[2]

Peter's birth name was Donald Murray White, Jr. When he was born on 10 October 1937, in New York City, New York, United States, his father, a stockbroker, Donald Murray White, was 36 and his mother, Alice Ewing Brevoort, was 35. ^[3] Peter had two siblings: a brother, Brevoort, and a sister, Mary Jane.^[4][5] Peter had English, Irish and Scottish ancestry, with some significant Dutch ancestry, too.

He attended public school in Scarsdale, New York, where he was active in the Drama program. His senior yearbook description was apt: "Donald M. White, Jr. Academy Award Winner; Social Planning Board; Bandersnatch Senior Write-ups editor; Chorus; Dramatic Club, VP; Magician Club. Merry Monomoy-er, favorite partner, O Romeo!l, Youth President, Modern Knight."^[6] He studied acting at the Yale School of Drama.

Peter never married, nor did he have any children.
