Lois Whitney was born on Jun 14, 1761 in Stow, MA, USA. Daughter of Lemuel Whitney and Elizabeth Wheeler

She married Robert Coolidge in Nov 10, 1779 at Stow, MA, USA. ^[1] Lois Whitney married Oliver Houghton^[2], son of Joseph Houghton and Ame Haskell, in Sep 18, 1793 at Acton, Middlesex Co., MA, USA. Lois Whitney died on Dec 31, 1830 at Acton, Middlesex Co., MA, USA.^[3]

Some sources have her m. Oliver, although the Whitney sources have his parents as Joseph and Ame Haskell who are not in the Houghton source. The Houghton Family website has Oliver's parents as Joseph and Ame Haskell, note Joseph married 2nd Martha Snow dau. of Hannah (Sawyer) Snow Powers^[4][5]
