Biography

William was born in 1785[1]


He was the son of Daniel Whitney and Katy Stone.


William married Sally Hartwell on 14 Jan 1811 in Wilmington, Vermont [2]

They had about 13 children

In 1820 the family is living in Madrid, Saint Lawrence, New York, there are 8 in the household[3]

In 1830 they are living still in Madrid, New York and there is 12 in the household[4]



He passed away in 1835 at the age of 51 (per headstone) and is buried at Doran Cemetery located in Madrid, St. Lawrence, New York [5]

Sally lives with son Joseph and she passes away in 1857
