John Collin Whitten was born on 1 June 1827 in South Carolina.[1]

He married Elmira Hubbard.[1]

John died on 20 Sep. 1890 probably in South Carolina and was buried at Old Stone Church Cemetery, Clemson, Pickens County, South Carolina. His memorial has a photo of his headstone and links to those of family members.[1]
