Biography

James Madison Whitten was born on 2 Feb 1811 in Saco, York, Massachusetts (now Maine).[1] He was the son of Benjamin Whitten and Sarah Green.

James married Martha (last name unknown). They had two children that survived to adulthood: Horace H. (1838-1902) and James Henry (1840-1897).

James passed away on 29 Jan 1886 in Saco, York, Maine.[2]
