Finis Edward Whitten was born on 2 Apr 1908 in Mulberry Grove, Bond County, Illinois, United States, son of William Elmer Whitten (1872–1943) and Nellie Gertrude Briggs (1873–1957). Finis died on 14 Feb 1979, in Amarillo, Potter County, Texas, United States, age 70 years, 10 months, 12 days.[1]

Finis married the former Ida Lon Glaze on 3 Jun 1950 in Texas, United States. Finis and Ida appear to have no children.[2]

In the 1910 census Finis (age 2) was the son of William E Whitten in Mulberry Grove, Bond County, Illinois, United States.[3]
