Biography

Elmina Wible was born on 25 April 1915, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to Watson Raynor Wible and Elmina Goldecker. [1] [2] [3]

In 1920, she was living at 2315 Jasper Street, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, with her parents and brothers. [4]

In 1930, she was living at 2323 Jasper Street, PHiladelphia, Pennsylvania with her grandparents. She was attending school. [5]

She finished 8 years of school. [6]

She married George William Doerr. No record of their marriage has yet been found, but they reported themselves married in the 1940 census, and were divorced in 1947. [7] [8] [9] [10] [11] [12] They had one child.[13]

In 1940, George and Elmina were living at 2050 Arizona Street, Philadelphia, which they were renting for $20 a month. They were living with their daughter. George was a gas welder at the Philadelphia Navy Yard. He worked 40 hours the week of 24 March, and had earned $2,023 in 52 weeks work in 1939. [6]

George and Elmina were divorced on 21 April 1947, at Philadelphia. [14]

She married George K Dingee. [2] [15] They had two children.[13]

On 17 January 1950, George Dingee applied to Pennsylvania for compensation for his World War II service. He and Elmina were living at 3154 North 8th Street, Philadelphia. [15]

In 1950, George and Elmina were living at 3154 North 8th Street, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The week before the census was taken, George worked 44 hours as a truck driver for a retail distributor. They were living with their daughter and with Elmina's daughter from her first marriage. [16]

On 26 October 1998, she died, at the West Jersey Hospital, Voorhees. She was living in Turnersville. She was buried in Wenonah Cemetery, Mantua Township, Gloucester County, New Jersey. [13] [17]
