Johann Christoph was born in Muenster, Wuerttemberg in 1763 to Christoph and Anna Catarina (Bolinger) Widmaier [1 & 2]. He was listed as a son of Christoph in the Family Register of the Evangelische Kirche Muenster [2]. He was confirmed in the Evangelische Kirche Muenster in 1777 [2 & 3].
