Biography

Duane Wells Wiley, son of Elmer Wiley and Josephine (Wells) Wiley, was born about 12 Sep. 1903 in St. Clair Township, St. Clair County, Michigan.[1][2] He appeared on the census of 7 May 1910 in the home of his parents at St Clair, Saint Clair, Michigan.[3]

He married Edna R. Shafer, daughter of Joseph and Elizabeth Shafer, on 24 June 1926 at St Clair, St Clair, Michigan.[4]

He was a truck driver for a dairy company when he and Edna appeared on the census of 6 April 1940 at St Clair, St Clair, Michigan.[5]

Duane died on 28 July 1942 at St Clair, St Clair County, Michigan[1] and was buried at Saint Marys Cemetery, Saint Clair, St. Clair County, Michigan. His memorial has a photo of his headstone, a copy of his obituary and a link to that of a child.[6]
