Biography
Lee was born in 1882, in Greene, Tennessee. He was the son of James Wilhoit and Anna Ware. He married Mary Ella Bullen in Greeneville, Tennessee, in 1910. They had ten children. He died in 1962, in Birmingham, Alabama, at the age of 80. He is buried in Elmwood Cemetery, in Birmingham, alongside Ella.
