Research Notes

Thos Ragland was a witness to the marriage and also witness to marriage of Keziah Johnson to John Brewer in 1817 and marriage of Didama Johnson to William Gibbs in 1819, Peggy L Johnson to John Munden in 1827. However, Thomas Wilkerson was never listed in Chatham Co census records nor in any NC county.

In the 1790 Census for Caswell County, North Carolina, there is a record for a Thomas Wilkerson.^[2] Unclear whether this is the identical Thomas Wilkerson.

There is also a Thomas Wilkerson in the 1790 Census for Guilford County, North Carolina. This record links to the photo showing there was one male over 16 years and three females of any age in the household.^[3] Again, unclear whether this is the identical Thomas Wilkerson.
