Biography

Alan, child of Bertie Wilkins and Elsie Biss was baptised on 8 December 1912 in St Michael and All Angels, Stoke Newington Common, Hackney, England.[1] Aban's birth was registered in the Oct-Nov-Dec quarter of 1912 in the Hackney district.[2]

Alan's marriage to Edith D Dyson was registered in the Apr-May-Jun quarter of 1940 in the Romford district.[3]

Lance Corporal Alan Bert Wilkins was in the military and died on 27 June 1944 and was buried in Bari War Cemetery It. 4., Italy. His service number was 6214126.[4] [5]Alan's will was proved on 12 January 1945 in Llandudno.[6]
