James Wilkinson was born on November 24, 1888 in Wilcannia, Colony of New South Wales, son of William James Wilkinson (~1836–1889) and Mary Anne Maria Edwards (1864–~1946).[1]
James (27) married Beryl Grace Sternbeck (20) (born on December 30, 1895 in Laguna, New South Wales; daughter of George Earl Sternbeck and Sarah Henrietta Hildergarde (Jacobs) Sternbeck) in 1916 in Singleton, New South Wales[2]. Their children were:
- George William Edgar Wilkinson (1917–1979)
- Dorothy Henrietta Wilkinson (1922–2012)
James died on October 11, 1973 in Bankstown, New South Wales, Australia, aged 84.[3]
