Benjamin Whittemore Willard was born at Lancaster, Massachusetts on June 26, 1762, son of William Jr. and Mary (Whitemore) Willard. [1][2]
He married Annis Willard, daughter of Abraham and Mary Haskel. [2] Their intentions were published at Lancaster on October 21, 1782. [1] She was baptized at Harvard on October 22, 1752. [3]
1793: September 26: Petition of the brothers Benjamin Whittemore Willard, Paul Willard, and William Willard for Title of certain tracts of land partly in Lancester and partly in Harvard, to which the state has a claim. The parties state they purchased these tracts of the administrator on Aaron Willards estate. This was granted, providing the parties pay into the State Treasury the sum of L300. [4]
Private Benjamin Willard I served with Worcester County Militia, Massachusetts Militia during the American Revolution.
1779: October 27: Enlisted in Captain Luke Wilder's company; Colonel Samuel Denney's regiment. [5][6][2]
