Biography
Mary Margaret was born on 28 Mar 1913 in Thorsby, Chilton County, Alabama. She was the daughter and only child of William Williams and Cora Bristow, but had two half sisters from her father's first marriage. Margaret married Joel Philip Carter Jr on 6 June 1937, in Alabama City, Etowah County, Alabama. They were the parents of at least 2 sons. She lived in Cherokee, Colbert County, Alabama in 1935 and Geneva, Geneva County, Alabama in 1940. She died on 7 October 1999, in Cary, Wake County, North Carolina at the age of 86, and was buried in Geneva City Cemetery in Geneva, Alabama.
