Biography
Son of John Miller Williams (1825-1900) & Frances Jane (Fanny) Adams (1825-1885), William 'Billy' A Williams was born on August 27, 1857, in North Carolina. He married Martha Adaline Collett in 1879; they had 10 children:
- John James Williams (1879–1936)
- Mary Alice Williams Taylor (1881–1961)
- George Edward Williams (1883–1953)
- Ada M Williams Mauzey (1885–1960)
- Annie Jane Williams Adams (1887–1947)
- Dora B Williams Raney (1889–1962)
- Malinda Linda Williams Vickery (1890–1981)
- Mildred Viola Pate Williams Reeves (1892–1987)[1]
- Fanna Mae Williams Willson (1895–1954)
- Bessie Lee Williams (1897–1907)
He died on January 7, 1926, in Cookville, Texas,[2] at the age of 68, and was buried in Titus, Texas.[3]
