Paul married Katherine Ann Voellinger June 17, 1930[4][5][6] and they made their home in Richland, West Virginia[7] and Wheeling, West Virginia until his death June 9, 1965.[8][9] He supported his family as a wholesale foods salesman. Together they raised three children; George R Williams, Frederick P Williams and Laurence Philip Williams. Paul's place of burial is unknown at this time.
