Andrew died on 23 March 1862 and was buried in Williamson Family Cemetery, Jefferson, Jackson County, Georgia, United States.[2] In his will his wife, Nancy, is given control of all his real and personal property.[3]

Fanny, girl, dark complexion, 15 years
John, boy, dark complexion, 15 years
Sharlott, woman, dark complexion, 25 years
On the 1860 census Andrew is recorded owning 5 slaves in Jackson County, Georgia.[5]
