Virginia Willis was born on November 10, 1931 in Eagle Lake, Colorado, Texas, United States, daughter of Robert Virgil Willis (~1900–1980) and Lola Alice Alice Hastings (~1897–1978).

Virginia married Leonel Ramey (born about October 9, 1924; son of Charles Francis Ramey and Mary Addie (Lively) Ramey). [1]

In 1950, Virginia (18) was living in household of Robert Willis (49) in Colorado, Texas with her siblings, Anna Meitzen (60), Robert (49), Lola (52), John (16), and Violet Mooney (45); and Virginia Willis (18), Velma Willis (14), Joyce Willis (11), Martha Willis (77), Lucious Green (71), Opal Green (32), Will Wright (66), Edward R Mooney, Sr. (45), Edward Lane Mooney, Jr. (18), Paddy Sue Mooney (15), and Walter Meitzen, Sr (60). [2]

Virginia died on February 9, 2012 in Palestine, Anderson, Texas, aged 80. She was buried in Muse Cemetery, Slocum, Anderson County, Texas.[3]
