DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with George by comparing test results with other carriers of his ancestors' Y-chromosome or mitochondrial DNA. However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line. It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with George:

Unfortunately the only sources I have found are the censuses and Family Search ID LD73-WNM for William John Wills, but I do have strong circumstantial evidence that causes me to pursue proof that Sarah Elizabeth (Scott) Wills b. 1828 is dau. of Obadiah Scott of Dade County and sister of Arrena (Scott) Byler b.1820-d.1844 (my 2nd gr-grm), Maranda (Scott) Berry b.1821, Jesse Fauler Scott b.1822, Philip Thomas Scott b.1826, and George Richard Scott b.1830 and Martha Ann (Scott) Sumner b. 1832
Lewis Wills born 1810 Johnson Tn is more likely connected to the Wills family who also lived in Tennessee before coming to Barry and Dade Co MO
George W. Wills b. 1854 Benton Co MO- d. 1818 Kingfisher OKlahoma) may be the son of William John Wills (b. 1821 Tn- d. Mo) married 1843 in Barry or Dade Co MO Sarah Elizabeth Scott (1828-1864)

George W Wills married Amanda Margaret Allen 5 July 1874 Benton Co MO. Siblings: John Henry b. 1847 Dade Co, Mary Wills (1848),Martha J (1849), William (1854)
