Biography

Dr. Robert Wilson Baptised 1st July 1725 Old Cumnock, Ayrshire

A Medical Doctor/Surgeon in practice in Old Cumnock for over 50 years.

1754: Kirk Session Minutes 7 & 14 July record Dr Wilson as then practicing in Old Cumnock.

1769: 27 April Extract from Old Cumnock Presbytery records (as published in Warrick's A History of Old Cumnock 1899):

"It is further added that the park of Kilnholm belonging to Robert Wilson, surgeon, has also been transferred to glebe lands."

Note: Unable to Merge Mary (Campbell) Wilson (Campbell-8106) with Mary (Campbell) Wilson (Campbell-3298)
