Joe loved to fish, watch the Chicago Cubs, and be with his friends and family. He was a bus driver for the Chicago Transit Authority. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus.
Joe loved to fish and would do so whenever he could. He spent his last day with friends on Lake Michigan, outside of Kenosha, Illinois. Moments before his death, his friends took a photo of him holding his catch of the day. It was huge! Joseph had the biggest smile on his face and was so happy. Shortly afterwards, he passed away from a massive heart attack. He died doing something he loved and with friends he cherished.
Joe loved taking care of his rose garden. He had a green thumb when it came to yardwork and gardening. His was the best lawn in the neighborhood.
He also enjoyed going to the Chicago Cubs baseball games.
Joe had 2 sons and 2 daughters with Mary Mildred Hobbs. They attended St. Vincent DePaul and St. Celestine's parishes in Chicago, Illinois. Joe was a member of the Knights of Columbus.
