Clarence C. Wilson
Clarence C. Wilson, 77, formerly of 1824 West 4th, died Wednesday at the Veterans Administration Hospital at Noxville, Iowa, after one year's illness.
Born March 12, 1894 at Melvern, he married Ruth J. Tryon on April 29, 1922 at Hutchinson. She died February 28, 1965. In 1967 he moved from Hutchinson to Lincoln, Neb. He had been hospitalized one year.
A World War I veteran, he retired from Cessna Aircraft Co. in 1963. He was a taxidermist and a member of the VFW, American Legion and Hadley United Methodist Church.
Survivors include: son, Donald E. Wilson, Lincoln; sisters, Mrs. Grace Crow, 310 Crescent Blvd, Mrs. O. R. Todd, 305 East Carpenter; brother, Roy Wilson, Los Angeles; four grandchildren.
Graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Memorial Park Cemetery; REv. W. Harlan Rittgers. Friends may call at Johnson and Sons Chapel from 4 to 9 p.m. Friday. The family suggest memorials be made to the church.[1]
