Florence Rebekah Wilson was born on 3 January 1892 in Broad Bay Township, Davidson County, North Carolina. Her parents were Charles Ransom Wilson and Flora Smith Wilson.

Florence and Paul Erastus Glascoe were wed on 6 December 1919 in Broadbay Township, Forsyth County, North Carolina. The marriage record also gives us this additional information:

1930: Florence and Paul are still living in the household of his parents. They have two more children: Helen P Glascoe and Aldene W Glascoe. ^[5]

1940 Paul is now head of the household, along with Florence. They have two more daughters, 8 year old Jo Ann and one year old Carol. ^[6]
