James was born in 1813. He was the son of Benoni Wiltse and Mary Slack. In the 1860 census James (age 30) was in Vernon, Shiawassee, Michigan.[1]
James died on 16 May 1865 and was buried in Chalker Cemetery, Vernon, Shiawassee County, Michigan, United States.[2]
