Christina is in her father's Will listed for her husband.
Stating: "Where Doctor William Bratton married my daughter Christina, I gave her property almost to the equal to the property I gave my daughter Margaret" Her father Richard Winn died in 1818, Christina died a year before.
The property is now called "Wynne Dee--Bratton Place". [1]
(Built by Richard Winn, for whom Winnsboro was named, on a land grant from King George III. Deeded in 1865 as a wedding gift to his daughter Christina and Dr. William Bratton) The date on the marker is incorrect for wedding present, as that is date when deeded to Gen John Simpson Bratton (William and Isabella's child) by his mother in her Will, as he also lived there, not the date for the wedding gift.
She passed away in 1817 she was only 35 and is buried at Sion Presbyterian Cemetery located in Winnsboro, Fairfield, South Carolina Find A Grave: Memorial #47476987
