Basilissa was baptised on 14 December 1794 at St Marys in Portsea, Hampshire, England.[1]

On 15 December 1816 Basilissa married Peter Masters in Alverstoke, Hampshire, England.[2]

The 1841 England and Wales Census shows the couple and six children living in Watch House Beach, Alverstoke, Hampshire, England.[3] Basilissa was 46 years old.

The 1851 England and Wales Census shows the couple and five children living in Green, Alverstoke, Hampshire, England.[4] Basilissa was 56 years old.

Basilissa's husband Peter passed away on 8 October 1855 in Alverstoke, Hampshire, England. He was 67 years old.

Basilissa passed away in 1872 in Alverstoke, Hampshire, England.[5] She was 77 years old.

Research Notes

The 1841 and 1851 censuses record Basilissa's name as Mary and Ann respectively. Her age and birthplace look correct so perhaps she used other names to make life easier for everyone.
