Biography

Owen Tuttle Wise was born 15 Jan 1839, in Crawford County, Ohio. He is a son of Henry Wise and Sophia Kester. ^{[1] [2] [3]}

In 1850, the family was living in Rochester, Cedar County, Iowa. Parents Henry and Sophia, children Isaac, George, Melinda, John, Owen, Hannah, Samuel, and James. ^[2]

He married Cathern Barnard, 15 Sep 1861 in Cedar County, Iowa. ^[4]

In 1900, Owen's family was living in Mason, Taylor County, Iowa. Parents Owen and Cathern, children James, Wilber, Hubert, Samuel, and Julia. ^[3]

His wife Cathern passed away in 1898.

In 1920, he was living with his daughter Julia and son-in-law, in San Jose, Los Angeles County, California. ^[5]
