Biography

Alvira was born in 1806. Alvira Wiswall was the second wife of Mark Palmer.

She may have had a first marriage to John Parker Palmer as the below quote from the book Thurston Genealogies B. Thurston, and Hoyt, Fogg & Donham, 1880 - 592 pages, pg 443 seems to indicate.

10.360 Elvira (Wiswall), b. in Westminster Isdg; m. John Parke Parmer of Rome, N. Y., a farmer till he moved to Embarrass, where he was a "merchant and postmaster.
