Max Wolf was a German astronomer and a pioneer in the field of astrophotography.
Maximilian Franz Joseph Cornelius Wolf was born in 1863 in Heidelberg. He was the son of son of medical doctor Franz Wolf.
He married Gisela Merx on 7 Aug 1897 in Malberg.[1]
He passed away in 1932 in Heidelberg.
