Elijah died before 1892 aged ~54.
Elijah was a Private in the Iowa 30th regiment, and the 2nd regiment of the Iowa 6th Infantry. He was wounded at Kennesaw Mountain Georgia on 20 Jun 1864.[5]
Research Notes
Family records indicate that he died before 1892. Find a Grave is not a reliable source, but it gives a death date of 1906.[6]
