Biography

Benjamin's dates are not recorded. Woodruff Chronicles estimates birth as 1684/85, without source.^[1] But he was at least 21 in 1699 when listed as an Elizabethtown Associate, a property owner in his own right, having inherited real estate at his father's death in 1691. He was probably under 21 in 1694 since he does not appear among the contributors to the local minister. Hence he was born between 1673 and 1678. He pledged 6 shillings for the Rev. Harriman in 1701.^[2]

He died intestate. He married Susannah --?-- whose estate was administered in Feb. 1727 by her brother-in-law Joseph.^[3]
