Edwin Francis was born about 1856. He was the son of Eliza Kearney and John Woods.[1]

On 8 June 1870 the Woods family lived in Philadelphia Ward 17 District 51, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. [3] Eliza Wood (34) Keeping House with Annie Wood (16) works in cotton mill, Edward Wood (14) works in cotton mill, Lizzie Wood (12), John Wood (10) & Thomas Wood (4).
In 1880 the Woods famly lived Jefferson St South Side, Philadelphia, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. [4] Widow Eliza Woods (42) Midwife with Edwin F. Woods (22) Hosiery Finisher, Thomas Woods (13) & John Woods (19).
Edwin Francis Woods married Catherine Dyson in 1881[5][6] They lived in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA.[5][7][8][9]
In 1910 the Woods family lived in North Fourth Street, Philadelphia Ward 17, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. [10] Edwin F Woods (54) Painter & Kate Woods (45) with Frank Woods (21) Machinist (Machine Shop), William Woods (20) Driver (Feed Store), Arthur Woods (18) Driver (Feed Store) & Joseph Woods (12). Married 30 years, 10 children born, 7 living.
He passed away in 1937, aged 80 and was buried at the Old Cathedral Catholic Cemetery. [11]
