Mary was the daughter of Richard Woolworth and Lois Colton, born in 1769 and died in 1834. Polly was one of at least five children, plus seven half siblings from her father's first marriage to Naomi Wright.[1] She married Demas Colton in 1789. Together they had at least 10 children:
