Sarah was born in 1806. She was the daughter of John and Jane (Bradley) Youds.
She married Henry Barlow in 1827. Sarah Anne and Henry had six children.

After death of her first husband, Henry Barlow, in 1838, Sarah Ann (Youds) Barlow married his brother, Richard Barlow, about 1840. Sarah Ann moved from Liverpool to Heswall, Cheshire, bringing her children with her.
Richard and Sarah Anne had one child.

She passed away in 1847 and was interred at St. Peter's Churchyard, Heswall.
