Sallie (Young) Curd is a part of US Black heritage.

Marriage and Family

On 2 October 1920 Sallie Young married Charles Conrad Bruce. in Miday, Woodland, Kentucky. Her husband's father was also named Charles Conrad Bruce. His mother was Lizzie Bruce Dement. ^[1] Sadly, this marriage did not last. When Charles died in 1940, his death certificate stated he was divorced.^[2]

Question concerning middle name 'B.'

• Sallie's marriage certificate, married to Charles Conrad Bruce 2 Oct. 1920, shows her name as Sallie B. Young.
• There is a Sallie Young of Virginia born about the same time who also has B. in her middle name.
• It would be easy to mix these two young ladies up when scanning through Family Search.
