Biography

Robert was born on 1 Oct 1822 in Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland. His parents were George Young and Jean Dudgeon He married Margaret Turnbull. on 8 Feb 1856 in Duns, Berwickshire, Scotland. He is described as a Literary Missionary. After their marriage, they traveled to India where their four eldest children were born, but returned to Edinburgh by the time of the 1861 census

Robert died on 14 Oct 1888 in Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland.
